I hate not sleeping well. I usually sleep like a rock, so a night where it takes me six years to fall asleep and I spend the time while I do sleep, tossing and turning, is the worst. I know today will be a bad day. Maybe I can stop on the way in for a Mountain Dew? Feed that obsession.
So today is a rest day, and much needed. My legs were fatigued yesterday after that speedy eight miler. Tomorrow is a 17 and I’m excited to see if my knee will behave the entire time.
Are you paying attention to this March Madness?! Besides the fact that my bracket is officially busted, it looks like things are shaking up this year. Bye MSU, Wisconsin and Georgetown… in one night? Should make for a fun weekend if it continues. I’m still rooting for the baby blues!
Last night I went to see “21 Jump Street.”
If you are in the mood for a funny, not-a-chance-in-hell-any-of-this-could-really-happen type of movie, this is your movie. I loved that it made me laugh out loud! There were some pretty hilarious parts. And, I was proud of myself because I successfully smuggled in a shake from Shake Shack — I haven’t lived on the edge like that for years. Watch out.
Did you hear about the Marine Corps Marathon? It sold out in two hours and 41 minutes. That is insane, yo. I’ve heard that it’s one of the hardest marathons out there, but I’m guessing that’s why it’s so popular. Claire over at Let’s Go on a Living Spree has a “golden ticket” aka one extra entry into the race. You can enter to win at her blog!
