Remember a few weeks ago how I mentioned that I fall asleep super fast and get mad when I don’t? Last night was one of those nights. I didn’t fall asleep for probably a good three hours after we went to sleep. Which means I got four hours of sleep.

I hate when that happens on a Sunday night… just after you spent all weekend getting caught up on sleep, and now you have to start off on the wrong foot.

But, I did get up and manage to get a run in. My heel is feeling much better (thank you for all of your support!!) but is a little sore after the run… thank you tennis ball (Fiona @ Run Work Breathe Live suggested frozen golf balls… that sounds amazing!) for a quick cure.

Since Mondays are always rough, but Mondays with little sleep are even worse… here are five things I’m looking forward to this week.

1. Burpee Challenge = DONE

I had to postpone the Burpee Challenge for a few days because of my wisdom teeth surgery… but happy to report that this morning I am officially DONE. I ended up pushing it to seven minutes (its a CrossFit thing I guess… see how many burpees you can do in seven minutes and then you can benchmark).

I ended up with 54. Not too bad?

I don’t want this to be the end of my relationship with burpees. Even though I grew to hate them in the end, I love how they make me feel when I’m done. Like I have a wicked six pack (anyone else feel that way?). I’m sure I’ll find a way to bring them into my workout routine.

2. Great Adventure

I am scared of heights, not gonna lie. So last year when one of our friends convinced us to go to Great Adventure to ride the rollercoasters, I was terrified. But, it was an amazing day.

sunglasses hide fear well.

We are headed back for round 2 on Wednesday and I can’t wait (even if I’m pretty sure I’ll go on the baby coasters for the most the morning to get my fearlessness back).

3. Ragnar team planning!
A few weeks ago,  Kara mentioned that she wanted to put a team together for Ragnar. Um, yes! We have most of our team together and are meeting for a planning happy hour tomorrow night. I am so excited! This makes it feel official. C thinks I’m nuts. It’s going to be SO awesome and fun though. Stay tuned, we should hopefully have a team name SOON… maybe even after tomorrow’s happy hour (happy hour makes people very creative, right?)!

4. Crochet projects!
After a brief hiatus, I picked up my needle and yarn again yesterday and was busy finishing up an old project.

I made these to go on a bag that will be used to carry my junk lunch and other important goodies to and from work. My old bag has definitely seen better days so its time for it to go.  I’m also working on some new projects… pictures to come soon!

5. A trip to Wisconsin
I will be headed to Wisconsin on Thursday night for my friend’s bridal shower/bachelorette party. Before all that, though, I’ll be able to try on my WEDDING DRESS! I’m so excited, it’ll be my first fitting so hopefully my summer full of challenges will pay off in the fit. We are also going to spend some time out on the boat, which, when its summer in Wisconsin, there’s no better way to spend a day.

P.S. If you haven’t entered my Find Your Strong giveaway for a FREE pair of Saucony shoes, do it NOW… it ends tomorrow!!

What night do you think is the worst to be tossing and turning? What are you looking forward to this week?
