Wahoo we made it, Friday is finally here!! Why does it always feel like the weeks that have holidays drag on forever? I am five hours of work away from vacation for just over a week and am so excited.
I sneakily scheduled today to be a rest day so I don’t have to run in the ridiculous heat, but instead can run tomorrow back in WI where it’s going to be in the 70s! Who knows what temperature it will be when I wake up, but I am very excited. I even packed a short-sleeve shirt.
Have you guys heard about Bia? It is a GPS watch for women, made by women. You know how Garmins are all big and clunky and really don’t fit on your wrist? Well, Bia is trying to change that. They have this really cool design that looks like it is really comfortable:
They are on Kickstarter right now trying to raise the funds so that they can make this and are about halfway to their goal with a little more than a week to go! Go here to help out — depending on what you pledge, you get some cool stuff with it too (and you only have to pay for your pledge if they meet their goal).
Remember how I Sweat Pink? Well, Sweat Pink has launched a super cool race program! It’s called the Sweat Pink Race Program and with registration, you get all of this awesome gear like a shirt, wineglass, pins and more!
Isn’t it cute?! I’m so excited for the shirt, it gives me another excuse to rock pink at an upcoming race. Today is the last day that you can register, and if you use code SPALoraJ you save 10 percent on registration.
