One week from today I will be in a car with my Maids of DIShonor Ragnar teammates headed to Saratoga Springs for the experience of a lifetime.

Have I mentioned how excited and pumped I am for this weekend?!

It is going to be absolutely incredible and I am so honored to share it with these ladies… and honored that we are doing it as a pseudo-bachelorette party for me!

I think I mentioned that we have some pretty awesome gear. Yeah, it’s stellar. I can’t wait to share it with you guys… stay tuned this weekend because you are going to love what we put together.

I also want to do a quick shout out to our sponsors. We have some amazing companies who are making it possible for us to accelerate during our journey through the Adirondacks!

First of all, part of the reason why we are going to be so well dressed is because of Running Skirts, Bondi Band, Injinji, Under Armour and PRO Compression. Seriously, how can you not be the best dressed when these companies are part of your outfit?!

Running 200 miles (even if it is between eight people) requires a lot of fuel — and thanks to Gu, we’ll be well-nourished on the road. Chobani and Cheribundi is making it possible for our tummies to be full during our rest period and the awesome antioxidant goodness of Cheribundi will ensure our muscles are ready to churn the next leg!

And who can forget ShowerPill, I mean seriously, we are going to be pretty stank after running and sitting in a car for 24+ hours. But hey, at least ShowerPill will make it possible for us to still be friends.

I have no idea what to expect, besides the fact that this is going to be an awesome experience and weekend. I will try to post as much as I can while we’re on the road, but know that for sure you’ll find updates on our Maids of DIShonor twitter account!

Oh, and be sure to check out my teammates blogs — Kara, Ashley, Dayna and Erin will also be posting about their thoughts leading up to the race and along the way!

And hopefully we catch that Runaway Bride! 🙂 Oh wait, that’s me!

Will you or have you ever done a relay race? Any tips for Ragnar?
