You have to see this baby shower invitation that my friend sent me:

How adorable is that?! If only she would have planned her shower in NYC so I could go… 😉

I woke up at 7 a.m. to run my 10 miler. Is it sad that 7 a.m. is now considered sleeping in? Someone else was a little pumped for this morning’s run:

My legs are tired… oh so tired. I take it as a good thing… and that my legs will thank me for it come marathon day (less than 2 months to go!).

The first few miles were a little rough as I warmed up but by time I got to the park, I was ready to go. And the best part of the run? It started flurrying! I never believe the weather people up here because their predictions are usually way off (I think there’s an anti-weather forcefield in the city). You are probably sick of me talking about snow but you have to admit that it’s pretty awesome.

By time I showered, the mini “snow storm” was over… so I’m glad I was able to enjoy it for a good chunk of my run.

One of my favorite things that I see in the park on Saturdays and Sundays are parents working out with their kids! So very important to make it a fun, family activity. Most recently, I’ve seen a Dad run with his two sons. They run with a football and switch it up so a different person has it everytime I see them. I don’t know the meaning behind the football, but it’s so great to see all of them with big smiles on their faces.

Next up? Off to JackRabbit to get the hook up on some new shoes. Oh yes, the shoe drama has returned…

What’s the latest you sleep in until?

What fun do you have planned for today?
