Last night I had the most crazy dream ever and I just need to share it with you guys. So in the dream, I was getting on the subway to see C in Queens. I got on this one subway, and realized that I was going the wrong direction (this happens in real life sometimes). It was a subway I had never been on before so I figured I would just get off at the next stop and then go back into the city to get where I needed to be.
It turns out the subway was going to BARBADOS! Which was much closer to NYC in my dream than in real life. I got to Barbados only to find out the only subway that left to go back to the city had left hours before, so I was stuck there.
I woke up before I could see what Barbados had to offer, but how weird. I never will understand how we pick these super random things to dream about… I don’t even remember the last time that I heard, said or even thought of Barbados.
Maybe I need to more often? It’s really beautiful:
No run today, but have no fear, running is always on the brain for this girl.
I thought you’d be interested in some fun analysis for half marathons. Running USA recently released its annual half-marathon report… and the numbers are really interesting. Basically more people than ever are running half marathons and more women than ever! I thought it would be fun to create an infograph with these fun half marathon stats… enjoy! 🙂
What is your favorite race distance? Why?
Have you ran any of the U.S.’s largest halfs? Which one?
