I have had several people ask me what my finishing time was on Monday. I finished in 3:34.02, my fastest Boston Marathon yet and my third fastest marathon time to date. I will post a full recap soon, perhaps sometime this weekend.

That time requalified me for Boston and I can tell you that I will be back.

This Monday, the NYC running community will gather to run together for Boston.

Brian at Pavement Runner is organizing these runs all over the country, so visit his blog post to learn more about how to organize one in your city.

The ladies at Another Mother Runner have designed a special tee to honor Boston, with proceeds benefiting the One Fund Boston.

And lastly, Laura at Mommy Run Fast shares how you can receive counseling or support if you need it. It was a traumatic day for everyone, whether you were running the race, spectating on the sidelines or just have a special place in your heart for the Boston Marathon. I know the day’s events impacted me and my family far more than I ever expected.

*** I never officially ended the MOVband giveaway, so if you haven’t had a chance to enter, I’m extending it a few days until Friday, April 19 at 11:59 p.m. ET. I will announce the winner on Saturday.

What are other some ways to help the Boston community?

Tell me — how are you doing after Monday’s events? Sending virtual hugs and love out to all.
