Hi Guys! It’s Jessie from Jessie Loves To Run

First, I want to say thank you to Lora for asking me to write a guest post for her while she’s away on vacation. I’ve been an avid reader of hers for quite some time, and must admit, I felt honored.

Over time I’ve realized that Lora is much more of a runner (a kick a** one to be exact), she’s married to her best friend, has the cutest cats (which should say something since I’m usually not a cat person), and has the sweetest soul. Not only was she an inspiration to me when I was running (currently sidelined), but she is someone who makes you want to achieve your wildest dreams <3

For my guest post I thought it’d be fun to share some awesome protein smoothie recipes with y’all. Enjoy!!

Orange Creamsicle


  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 2 clementine’s
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 drops NuNaturals Pure Liquid Orange Stevia drops
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon xanthan gum
  • Ice


Vanilla Cranberry


  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ¾-1 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1- 1 ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla agave nectar
  • ice

Directions for both:

  • Blend everything together except fruit & ice for 5 seconds
  • Add remaining ingredients, and blend until smooth
  • Optional; freeze for an hour
  • Top with your cereal, almonds, extra fruit, coconut, etc…
