It is hard to believe that last week at this time, I was
falling asleep on the couch celebrating a fun 2013 ING New York City Marathon…
And now, I am sitting in our (mostly) unpacked apartment in Austin, TX.
Crazy how quickly life can change.
I meant to write a few more posts this week but honestly, things got a little insane! Our movers showed up early on Tuesday and before we knew it, we were saying goodbye to our little home at 274 Fifth Avenue in Brooklyn.
I admit it, I cried. Kind of a lot.
But let me explain… living in New York City was one of those “bucket list” items that I seriously dreamed about since I was a little girl. I had fulfilled that dream… so the whole driving away from our home hat helped me do that was a little sad.
Not to say that I wasn’t super excited for all that came… including our road trip down to Austin, which included stops in Harrisonburg, VA and Memphis, TN (Tennessee is such a beautiful state).
We arrived in Austin on Thursday and spent all day Friday and Saturday unpacking with a goal of finally hitting the trails today for a run. But… my running shoes are NO WHERE to be found. Luckily, I was able to find these babies from Mizuno.
I have unpacked all of my clothing bags and still have no idea where my running shoes are. I hope they didn’t fall off the back of the truck.
Once we are more settled in, some fun pictures of our amazing place! Loving it so much.
Lots to catch up on this week… ING New York City Marathon recap, Sydney pictures and 45 hours in Hawaii update! Woo woo!
What did you do this weekend? What’s the longest move you’ve ever made?
If you were my running shoes… where would you be hiding?
P.S. You can still enter my giveaway! Check it out here.
