Thank you all for your kinds words on yesterday’s posts. It sucks that this has to happen, but I guess that’s part of life.

I am officially on track for training for Dallas! The marathon is on December 14 and this is really something new that I am trying. I like to have a bunch of races on my calendar so I continually stay in shape (especially around the holiday season with all the cookies and candy everywhere!). I have never had such a lengthy series of marathons on my calendar, so I’m excited to see how it goes and if this is something that I’ll potentially continue.

One of the things I’m struggling with is trying to figure out what I should wear for the Dallas Marathon! Since it’s only 11 days before Christmas, I feel like I should be festive.

I am in love with this shirt from INKnBURN:

Sadly, they only have it in XS and L at the moment. I think that XS would fit me, but there’s nothing worse than it not and then having to deal with shipping it back and all that jazz. According to the size charts, it should fit me pretty well though.

I am also in love with this skirt from Running Skirts:

I don’t think I could get away with both…. in one outfit.

So, what do you guys think? Which one should I go for?

And speaking of holidays, PRO Compression launched its November sock and its perfect for Turkey Trots and well, fall in general!

Plus, if you use coupon code NOV, you can save 40% + get free shipping.

Last night I finished my first (and last) bag of candy corn for the season. I must say, I wasn’t as in love with it this year as I have been in years past. I think the overly sugarness kinda isn’t as appealing anymore. I used to be obsessed with this stuff, so it feels a little weird to say that. But it just makes me feel gross afterwards… ugh. Not really worth it.

I mean, I kinda just want to eat a really big apple. A Honeycrisp apple.

OK — should I go with the INKnBURN shirt or the candy cane running skirt?

Have your taste buds changed over the years? What food did you used to love and now you can’t stand (or vice versa!)?
