A few weeks ago, the great people over at Bombas contacted me and asked if I wanted to try out their sock collection. I saw bright colors so I was in. (I do not think I have worn “white” socks for a long time.)
If you aren’t familiar with Bombas, they were actually featured on Shark Tank. I think the coolest thing about them is that with every sock that is purchased, they donate a pair of socks to the homeless. The number one request that shelters get from the homeless is for socks, so Bombas set out to solve that. They’ve partnered with Hannah’s Socks, who supports this mission.
So far, Bombas has donated more than 150,000 socks!
They have two different types of socks — the ankle sock and the crew.
I like to wear the crew for running and love how soft and comfortable they are! They have cushion in all the right places, which make them great to wear even if you are pounding out those longer miles. And well, the crew works great for casual wear… I love having warm and cozy feet around this time of year and they do the trick!
In addition to the bright colors, all of their socks have this super cute bee design on them along with some designs reminiscent of a hive.
So, if you are looking for a great pair of socks (both for fitness and casual!) and want to give back in the process, check out Bombas! (they are also offering some great coupons right on their site, so even better.)
Are you a funky sock person? Or do you just wear whatever is in your drawer?
Are you more likely to purchase from a brand that gives back?
