If you’ve ever been to Austin in the spring, you have likely heard about cedar fever. It’s this phenomenon called allergies, but allergies that everyone gets. I think they say that it is likely to happen after you have lived here for a handful of years, but I was one of the unique people who made it a whole whopping six months before I suffered through…
…and now I’m one of the lucky ones who is suffering from cedar fever thanks to the juniper (?). It has made for a lot of sneezy days but here’s to hoping that I’m on the tail end of it!
Even though that’s not the most exciting thing in the world, THIS IS:
Yesterday I found out that I’ll be repping PRO Compression again in 2015… wahoo! I absolutely love this brand and all of their fabulous products. One of the things that I love the most are the crazy color combinations that they have going on.
Brighter = better. Proven fact.
One more random thought of the day: all the ladies out there — have you been reading Runner’s World Zelle? What do you think about it?
I am honestly not a fan. Seriously, how many articles can they write about how to do your hair before running? It’s called roll out bed, get dressed, pull your hair into a pony tail as you walk out the door. DONE.
Plus, they’ve had some tasteless articles published about women’s running in the past few weeks that make me question the integrity of the organization. I don’t know, maybe there’s still a chance for them to turn it around.
Why don’t we focus on more important issues to woman runners, like the women’s Q-Angle, issues related to iron deficiencies in running, how running can affect women getting pregnant, what you need to know if you are going to run through a pregnancy, how to find the time in a busy life of juggling a full-time job and kids…
Any one else suffer from allergies? How do you get through it?
