It was so awesome this weekend to finally see the sun! I finally checked out some new-to-me restaurants, including the much-acclaimed Moonshine, which has an incredible Sunday brunch. This is the only picture I managed to take:
It better be incredible since we did have to wait for over an hour! Nuts. But worth it.
Since today kicks off a new month, I added up the miles from May last night… 75 miles! It’s much lower than the previous months tallies, but I was lacking some motivation hard after Boston and struggled to push myself to get up and get going in the morning.
But that’s OK… because today also kicks off marathon training!
That’s right, it’s already here.
I kinda cried a little inside when I saw that eight mile run on my docket… back to the 5 o’clock hour to wake up for runs. Who’s excited?!
My next race is the Santa Rosa Marathon at the end of August, so I gotta kick it into gear. This is going to be interesting because I will be balancing running in the morning with some Orangetheory Fitness at night on two days a week (including tonight!). I definitely think it will help me push myself, which I need!
