I swear, National Running Day is a little bit like running’s birthday. Everyone gets so pumped up to celebrate and get ready for the special day. 🙂 There are lots of cool things going on, but first… McFarland comes out today!
If you haven’t watched this movie yet, what are you waiting for?! Our friends watched it on the plane from NYC down to Austin, but apparently they turned it off when there was like 30 minutes to go… what?! How can they do that.
Anyways, definitely add it on your to-do list for National Running Day because it’s so worth it.
And a fun way to celebrate National Running Day (besides running and runfies, obviously):
>>> $20 off on select Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon races… see HERE for the details and to get a reminder.
>>> Pledge your miles for the day with National Running Day and Charity Miles to benefit a charity.
>>> Sign up for a race! Now is the perfect time to start signing up for your fall races! I love Running in the USA to find races (funny, I used to hate this website but they’ve fixed some of the functionality so it’s much better than a few years ago!)
>>> Enter to win $150 gift card to PRO Compression… whaaa?! Yes, just hit the website and enter your email address (signs you up for their newsletter, which gives you awesome coupons and first-look at new inventory!). You can also get additional entries by making a purchase using RNRSD, which also gives you 40% off everything!
>>> Add some Janji to your running clothing collection… they release new items on Wednesdays and what’s a better way to celebrating National Running Day than with some new duds coming your way?
>>> Brooks Running is kicking off it’s “Thank You Running” initiative tomorrow, perfect timing, huh? 🙂 To participate, tweet or Instagram what you have to thank running for… using the hashtag #thankyourunning and they will surprise you with something special!
Have you watched McFarland? Thoughts?
Are you doing anything to celebrate National Running Day? Any other fun things going on that I missed?
