Oh, hello there Thursday. I felt like it was Thursday on Tuesday so it’s been a bit of a slow week to say the least. But the best part of the week has been NO RAIN. Woo woo!
Plus, even though I started marathon training, it feels like I’ve had more rest days this week than usual. At first I was meh about it, but now it’s been pretty nice to get back into the swing of things. I am NOT loving the 5 o’clock hour alarm as of yet. Hopefully that will change soon.
My good friends operate this super awesome tee shirt shop in Minneapolis called MPLS / STP Clothing Co. I always have a spot in my heart for things that remind me of the Midwest, and I fell in love with this tee:
I will be in Seattle next weekend to run the RnR Seattle Half Marathon, which should be amazing. Then the following Friday, we leave for Vegas for a few days for a music festival, followed by Utah, and then a drive to South Dakota to hang out with my family for a few days. If you have any recommendations for things to do in Utah or South Dakota, I want to hear them!
I am really excited because we will be there to see the night blast for Crazy Horse. It looks something like this:
I’ve heard that the sheer size of Crazy Horse makes it incredible, but to see a night blast — I can’t even imagine what that’s like.
Do you live near good running? Do you have to drive to run? How big of a factor was that when choosing where you live?
What’s on your “wish list”? (I feel like mine is always getting longer, never shorter!)
Any vacation tips?! Going anywhere fun this summer?
