Happy October! I absolutely love this month. It’s fall, hoodie season, football season and our wedding anniversary in just a few weeks. Such a great time of year!
So this week’s adventures have taken me to Nashville.
I came here earlier this year for work as well and got to explore Broadway for about 1.5 hours. This time, I’m at the Gaylord Opryland Resort which is out of this world. It is HUGE… tons of restaurants, shops, waterfalls… yep, you read that right.
It’s right next to the Grand Ole Opry, which would be cool to check out but I don’t think I’ll have time before my flight leaves. Sad face!
You may have seen that Boston posted the cut off time for 2016 Boston Marathon yesterday. It’s 2:28, which means I didn’t get in. I didn’t really have a chance of getting in, which I kinda knew the minute that I crossed that finish line.
It’s sad, but I can’t be mad. The BAA does such a wonderful job communicating and letting people know what’s up that it was understood that not everyone can get in. It sucks and I wish I could be there, but I would never take it away from someone else who had a faster time and made it in.
All it means is that I need to get faster and finally get that sub-3:30, am I right?
I’ll see you again, Boston. I know it. 2017? 🙂
Apparently my foot makes a good head rest.
And P.S., it’s totally fashionable to wear snowflake pajamas with cotton candy socks.
Have you been to Nashville? Do you like country music? I am so obsessed with Luke Bryan right now!
Did you make the cut for Boston? What’s a race on your dream list?
