Well, looks like we’re back to another week… but, it’s a short one for me! Only two days and I’m off to Wisconsin to visit with my family this weekend. Woohoo! 

This weekend was a fun one… we kicked it off with a low-key night on Friday and then headed to the University of Texas game on Saturday.

My coworker gave me tickets to the game, so we experienced it from the Texas Club. Super cool — a huge suite with free food, and then you could go outside and sit in the seats to watch the game (or watch it from the suite).

As for the workouts? They were few and far between this weekend. Yeah, I slacked it up. I was going to run Saturday morning, woke up and it was sideways raining! I was like um, no, and went back to bed. I had a terrible headache on Saturday night so I opted to not set my alarm and let myself sleep in. 

Last week’s workouts included:

M-5 mile easy run in the AM; OTF at night.

T-rest day.

W-8 mile run. 

Th-rest day for running; OTF at night. 

F-rest day.

Sa-rest day.

Su-rest day.

 

This week will be a few less rest days. I will write a longer post about this later, but since I’ve scaled back on the workouts (not working out for 3-4 hours a day), I’ve noticed that my stomach is no longer as bloated as it once was. I am SO happy to see that and hoping to see the trend to continue.
