Totally missed yesterday’s post, oops! Even though my trip back to Wisconsin was super relaxing and I felt recharged and energized coming back to Austin, I still feel like time got away from me and I wasn’t able to get as caught up as I thought. So! I’m back.

*** If you are in Houston this weekend, you should check out the Homes for Our Troops 5k/10k! One of my friends is helping organize it and it sounds like a great race. Plus, it’s finally not a bjillion degrees in Houston so definitely would be the perfect time for a race! 

*** I love this article from Runner’s World that gives you some reasons why you should get out and run… even if it’s freezing outside! It says that it’s for beginners only, but I think that it’s worth anybody to read. Especially as they temperatures get colder and colder… 

 

And lastly, a quick treadmill workout for you today. Since joining Orangetheory, I’ve definitely increased my mental ability to run on the treadmill. I’ve learned that variation makes a big difference! Enjoy. 🙂
