Three cheers for Friday, right?!
For some reason, the shortest work weeks always seem like the longest.
But yay, for the weekend. And I am attempting my trying something new for the month, so look for that next week. 🙂
In the meantime, I’m going to share my five current favorites in my life, in honor of Friday Five with Courtney @ Eat Pray Run DC.
1. La Croix
Seriously, this is evolving into an addiction. I have only had one soda since I quit drinking it on January 4 (wahoo!) and look forward to having one (or two) of these each day. The flavors have really grown on me and even better? They are free at work! Can’t say no to that.
2. Planning another trip to Denver!
My birthday is just under a month away and I wanted to do something fun… so what’s better than visiting my BFF in Denver and going skiing for the weekend?! Woo woo!
3. PROBAR Bite Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
Even though I haven’t eaten peanut butter on its own for a really long time, I am totally loving the PROBAR Bite Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip bars. I have been eating these for breakfast and they are SO yummy!
4. Popcorn + Lawrys
This is my new favorite late-night snack. I air pop some popcorn, drizzle a little bit of olive oil and sprinkle with Lawrys. So so good. Plus, it’s relatively healthy, right?!
5. Late afternoon runs
I became a morning runner after living in NYC, and now I’m letting myself get out of that mode and do some runs after work. The weather in Austin is PERFECT to do so right now and I’m not minding not getting up during the 6 o’clock hour, let’s be honest. It’s starting to stay lighter longer each day, so that’s an added bonus — no running in the dark! Plus, I’ll never say no to a little extra Vitamin D for the day. 🙂
