Well, I totally underestimated how much a late-night flight was going to take out of me sooo apologies for no post yesterday! I was supposed to land at 12:30 a.m., ended up landing around 1:15 a.m. and finally made it to bed around 2:30 a.m. so writing a blog post was the last thing on my mind.
Today is Coaches Corner with Susie, Debbie and Rachel [more details on how you can join in on the fun below!], so more on this weekend’s festivities in Thursday’s and Friday’s blog posts! In the meantime, I want to talk about something that is something really important to me —> Janji.
Years ago when I was living in NYC, I got a message from one of my friends who said I needed to chat with a brand that was up-and-coming in the running space. I am always open to learning more about new technology and small companies, so I was in! Before long, she connected me with Dave from Janji. Since then, Janji has grown to become a favorite brand that does great things. In fact, every piece of clothing that they sell means that someone in a third-world country gets clean water. For a year.
Isn’t that amazing!?
I’ve been part of the Run Janji Ambassador team for years and am always inspired by what Dave and team puts together… and what they are doing for our world. I recently came across this quote:
And it’s so very true. Being part of the Janji team has been more than learning about what the company has to offers —> it’s been an opportunity that has helped me realize my own dreams and goals, and pushed me towards realizing that yes, they are possible.
So today, I dedicate Coaches’ Corner to a run to inspire — a run with Janji. Today, they are launching their new line called Mombasa, which features designs that are inspired by Kenyan art and culture and will also provide clean water to people living in Kenya. A few of my favorites:
And, Janji is even cat approved!
Have you ever tried Janji clothes? What did you think?
Do you pay attention to brand missions when you buy things? Does it matter to you?
