Happy Thursday and more importantly, happy March Madness kick off! I hope you have your brackets filled out and are ready for the craziness to begin. I honestly can’t believe that the Gophers have a five seed, what alternate universe are we living in?! But, hopefully they live up to it.
I love this from Cheerios
I am not a big cereal eater — don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely delicious but I can’t justify eating that many carbs + sugar without any other macros. But, I do love this campaign from Cheerios to #BringBacktheBees with free wildflower seeds! You can sign up for your free seeds HERE. They are trying to give away 100 million seeds!
Let’s get real: Whether you believe in global warming or not, us humans are doing a fantastic job at killing our planet… and the bees are one of the creatures that are suffering. Without bees, we can’t live.
OK, seriously, what are these?
Nordstrom is selling these “clear knee mom jeans” for $95 a pop. Yes, NINETY FIVE DOLLARS. I love the description: Slick plastic panels bare your knees for a futuristic feel in tapered and cropped high-waist jeans.
Hm, yes, sign me up.
Let’s get real: I just don’t even know where to start with these… I just want to know why the clear plastic panels. And also, the price. I mean, I guess, fashion?
How often do you cry?
I was talking to one of my friends yesterday about this because I saw another debate about it on Facebook… how often do you cry?
I used to cry a lot more than I do now, which is not very often… I’ve been watching “This is Us” since the beginning (don’t spoil it for me, I haven’t watched the last episode yet) and am so confused because everyone talks about how they cry in every single episode and I’m over here like what? I mean it’s sad, don’t get me wrong, but it just doesn’t make me cry.
Let’s get real: I don’t think there’s anything wrong with crying a lot, I think it’s an emotion that we experience just like we do with all the other ones. As I’ve gotten older (and maybe a little bit more hardened to the world), I find that things that used to make me cry just make me roll my eyes. Anyone else?
I saw this picture on Facebook after Boston got its snowstorm and I must admit… it makes me a little happy that it’s still winter in the Northeast.
Let’s get real: The 2012 Boston Marathon was not a fun one to run since it was in the high 80s throughout the race. Not saying that couldn’t happen this year (please mother nature, don’t do it), but I’m hoping that since there’s still snow on the ground (and falling from the sky), the likelihood would be way less.
Who are you rooting for in March Madness? How many brackets do you have?
OK, how often do you cry? Do you cry at “This is Us”?
