I was going for a sub-3:30 and obviously that didn’t happen. I started sweating like crazy .2 miles in to the race, which I told myself that it was a good sign that I was so hydrated. By mile four, I was hitting my targets and felt pretty solid. By mile eight, the thought to drop crossed my mind.

Yes, dropping.

I’ll have my full recap up tomorrow. I know I should be proud… I just finished my fifth Boston Marathon. But it’s not what I trained for. And I know I can do better.

So, more tomorrow. Thank you all for your amazing support, texts, everything. It was my inspiration for when I was struggling like crazy yesterday and I appreciate it more than you know.
